Explore Our Legacy
Glasgow Barnstormers is proud to be Scotland's oldest model flying club.
Dating back to the late 50's, the club has been sited at many locations. Originally sited at Abbotsinch Airfield, known now as Glasgow Airport, some of the long standing members can recall flying their models alongside real military aircraft.
Our current site is located just South of The Gadloch in Lenzie, providing a beautiful backdrop along with The Campsie Hills.
Our members share a passion for model aviation which they are always happy to share and talk about.
We often hold open days and engage with the local community to promote the enjoyment the hobby offers.
